To those whose children received candy at the Sedro Woolley parade that said
“Eat the candy for fucksake, you only live once”,
I deeply apologize. Those candies were intended for adults, to make them smile,
to be handed out while socializing after the parade.
This was truly an error as I was so busy singing and looking at all of the smiling faces.
We had tootsie rolls for the kids and our elves didn’t realize that the tootsie rolls were the only candy meant for the kids. The adult candy was fortunately just chocolate but still, not intended for kids.
The website on the candy was not related to the float as it was never intended to be dispersed on the float.
When this was brought to my attention, I was devasted to tears.
I was not trying to get attention or a laugh at your children’s expense.
If you know me, then you know that I am a loving mom who loves children very much.
Thank you to a friend who brought this to my attention and supported me knowing that my heart is kind. Thank you also Tony for being so very understanding about all of this.
You know how much I love children and everyone.
I have finally been able to update my website after overcoming some horribly timed tech issues.
I hope everyone had a nice time at the parade otherwise,
that was my intention with all of this.
